I created a tally
chart of a range of different genres of music to collect results from my target
audience (teenagers 13-18). From the results I had collected, I can see that a
large quantity of the people I asked listen and prefer the genre R&B. Hip-hop
is the second most popular preference then it’s pop. Seeing as I am focusing on
Pop as it is the genre for my music magazine and I listen to this genre more
than any other and I have more knowledge of the pop industry, it would make
more sense for me to base my magazine on this genre. Using excel I created a
bar chart for my results to be clearer and easier to understand.
